Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Platform Development Systems Engineer, focusing on mission systems for a high-end defense technology company. The core responsibilities include deriving and conceptualizing the system architecture, translating customer requirements into technical concepts (Epics/User Stories), and performing system-wide fault analysis and troubleshooting. A significant part of the job involves managing the Windows Server and Client landscape (physical and virtual), and automating infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Desired State Configuration (DSC), scripting (PowerShell), and container technologies like Docker. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, professional experience in system and software development, and proficiency in both German and English to ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
