Job Summary

This role is centered on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical plant components within a critical infrastructure setting (waste disposal and energy generation). Day-to-day duties involve taking electrical operational responsibility, leading technical personnel, and rigorously adhering to safety standards. The technician will be instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies, which includes planning, monitoring, and executing necessary revisions and repairs. Furthermore, a key component of the job is leading specialized projects in electrical and control technology, actively contributing to plant and process optimization, and managing the associated budgets for maintenance and spare parts. The ideal candidate holds a technical education at the HTL/College level in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, demonstrates strong self-reliance, accountability, and excellent problem-solving abilities, and is committed to continuous professional development.

Required Skills

Education

Technical degree (HTL/College level) in Electrical Engineering or similar; or Vocational qualification with Master Craftsman certification.

Experience

  • Completed technical education (HTL level or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Long-term professional experience (if vocational training route taken)
  • Professional experience in technical personnel leadership
  • Experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies
