Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Chemist or Chemical Engineer to specialize in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Product Stewardship for a leading chemical company in Miehlen, Germany. The core responsibility involves ensuring regulatory compliance and product safety across the portfolio. Day-to-day duties include handling complex customer inquiries related to chemical and environmental legislation (such as GHS/CLP and REACH), assessing product alignment with various Ecolabels, and supporting customers with their internal chemical management processes. A critical component of the job is the hazard classification of formulations, the creation of accurate Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and providing essential support to operational occupational safety and the internal environmental management system. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree with a specialization in chemical/environmental law and possesses professional experience in EHS and Product Stewardship.
