Job Summary

This role is a key position within the Automation Specialists team, focusing on the development and optimization of automated manufacturing processes for aircraft production lines. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of control programs, from initial conception and specification through to implementation and commissioning. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing PLC programs using standards like Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7, performing diagnostics and repairs, and ensuring the seamless integration of hardware and software for complex automated systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification (Technician/Master Craftsman), possesses deep knowledge of industrial PLC programming, and is adept at collaborating closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to enhance efficiency and future-proof production systems.
