Job Summary

This role involves training and mentoring rehabilitation participants as IT Specialists in Application Development within DIAKOVERE, Northern Germany's largest non-profit employer in health and social sectors. The vocational educator will be responsible for the full training lifecycle, including supervising trainees in cooperating companies across the Hannover region, acquiring new partner businesses, conducting joint projects, and meticulously documenting learning progress and development. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT qualification, preferably in application development, and comprehensive knowledge of the IT field. Strong social commitment, empathy, and an appreciative attitude towards individuals with disabilities are crucial. While pedagogical qualifications (AEVO, BBiG) and rehabilitation-specific training are desirable, they can be acquired while in the role.
