Job Summary

The City of Münster is seeking an SAP Development Coordinator to join citeq, its IT service provider for public administrations. This full-time, permanent position involves actively shaping the transformation projects to S/4HANA, a significant step into the future of their SAP landscape. The role requires coordinating development tasks with internal and external developers, ensuring compliance with guidelines through regular audits, and conceptualizing and developing modern SAP frontends, interfaces, and reports using current programming languages and technologies. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for problem management in custom developments. This position offers an opportunity to be a central point of contact for technological questions and drive modern IT solutions within a supportive public sector environment, contributing to the high quality of life in Münster.

Required Skills

Education

University degree with IT relevance (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics) OR Operative Professional (IHK) certification OR IT apprenticeship (e.g., Fachinformatiker, IT-Systemkaufmann) OR commercial apprenticeship OR comparable qualification OR completed training for general administrative service (e.g., Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts, Verwaltungslehrgang II, Diplom-Verwaltungs(betriebs-)wirt).

Experience

  • At least three years of professional experience with an IT-related university degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Mathematics)
  • Alternatively, at least three years of professional experience in the SAP area with an Operative Professional (IHK) certification, an IT apprenticeship (e.g., IT Specialist, IT Systems Merchant), or a commercial apprenticeship
  • Alternatively, at least three years of relevant professional experience with comparable qualifications or knowledge
  • Alternatively, at least three years of experience in the IT/digitalization sector with a completed public administration service training (Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts, or equivalent administrative training)
