Job Summary
As a Senior Professional System Engineer, you will be instrumental in operating and enhancing software solutions for speech recognition and digital whiteboard systems within Germany's largest IT landscapes. Your daily responsibilities will involve designing, developing, testing, optimizing, and operating software and infrastructure, ensuring they meet client and user demands. You'll work within interdisciplinary teams, focusing on high-quality, reliable software and infrastructure solutions. This role is attractive due to its critical contribution to effective communication and knowledge management within the Federal Employment Agency (BA), offering the opportunity to implement modern technologies like Microsoft 365 and SharePoint online. The position offers significant flexibility with up to 80% home office work and is a permanent role within a supportive and innovative environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree or comparable qualification (preferred fields: Computer Science, Business Informatics)
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Profound knowledge in the development and/or operation of software solutions and infrastructures
- Profound knowledge in troubleshooting software solutions and/or infrastructures
- Profound knowledge of programming languages and/or in adapting software solutions and infrastructures
- Profound knowledge in container technology
- Profound knowledge in databases
- Profound knowledge of IT Service Management, especially existing ITSM processes
Languages
Additional
- Must be eligible for security clearance as per SÜG (Sicherheitsüberprüfungsgesetz). International degrees must be recognized and documented.
