Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Full Stack Developer to conceptualize and develop modern, scalable web applications within a full-stack environment. Key responsibilities include utilizing technologies such as Java, .NET / C#, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, alongside designing REST APIs. A significant part of the job involves analyzing, refactoring, and optimizing existing architectures, and integrating cutting-edge AI-based software components into current applications. The developer will also support critical technology selection and cloud architecture decisions, specifically involving Azure and Entra ID, while ensuring strict adherence to software quality and governmental IT guidelines. Candidates must possess a university degree in Informatics or a comparable qualification, coupled with multiple years of experience in software architecture, development, and API design. Expertise in containerization, orchestration, and hybrid cloud infrastructure is required, along with a strong understanding of public sector IT security, data protection (DSGVO), and accessibility standards (BITV). This position offers flexible working hours and mobile work options up to three days a week, supporting the self-governance organization of German science.
