Job Summary

This role is dedicated to driving the digital transformation of technical documentation within a recognized German engineering services group specializing in mechanical, plant, electrical, and vehicle engineering. The Digitalization Specialist will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of digitalization projects, including planning, execution, and rigorous quality assurance of digitized data. A core component of the job involves developing and optimizing scanning processes to maximize efficiency and quality. Furthermore, the specialist will collaborate closely with various technical departments to align processes and data requirements, and provide training and support to colleagues using digital documentation systems. Candidates must possess relevant vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist or Merchant for Digitalization Management), initial experience with scanning processes and Document Management Systems (DMS), and working knowledge of AI-supported data processing and MS Office. The position offers a permanent contract and flexible working arrangements.
