Service Technician | Servicetechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Service Technician specializing in the maintenance and repair of railway battery systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed error analyses, conducting capacity tests, and replacing defective battery cells. You will be responsible for meticulous technical documentation and handling customer and production orders, as well as addressing complaints directly in the workshop. Key qualifications include a completed vocational degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (such as Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician) and fundamental knowledge of various battery technologies, including NiCd, Lead-Acid, and Lithium-Ion. Crucially, candidates must be qualified as an electrical specialist for working under voltage (AuS) and possess a high degree of safety awareness. This is a permanent contract offering good pay, holiday bonuses, and the planned prospect of direct takeover by the client, though it requires flexibility for shift work, including weekends, and working at different operational locations.
