Job Summary

This role involves the independent development and engineering of complex electronic and hardware systems, specifically for maritime applications, within an internationally operating group. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing, designing, and supervising electronic modules utilizing both analog and digital circuitry within closed system architectures. The engineer will be responsible for evaluating product performance, designing and simulating circuits, performing technical design reviews, and ensuring seamless integration and compatibility of components into new or existing system landscapes. A key aspect is managing the development lifecycle from prototype through qualification to serial production, alongside comprehensive documentation of all results in both German and English. This position requires a strong background in electrical engineering, experience with circuit design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle), and knowledge of relevant industry standards (EMC, shock, and vibration).
