Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Automation Engineer seeking diverse, challenging projects across various industries in Germany. The core responsibilities involve the design, planning, and commissioning of production and manufacturing systems. Key tasks include integrating PLCs, visualizing processes, programming software using the IEC 61131 standard, and testing software with various simulation tools. The engineer will also be responsible for connecting systems to databases and managing the entire process from order entry through to customer acceptance, requiring coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Candidates must possess a degree in Automation Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification such as an Electrical/Automation Technician certification, coupled with professional experience in automation technology and strong familiarity with PLC systems like Simatic S7 or Allen Bradley, and common fieldbuses like Profibus and DeviceNet. Good English skills are also required for communication.
