Job Summary
This role is for an Expert Application Developer to join a dynamic and motivated development team within the Federal Office of Information Technology and Telecommunication (UFIT) in Zollikofen. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and implementing high-performance modern databases and back-end systems using the .NET programming language for both web and mobile applications, following agile methodologies. Key responsibilities include supporting front-end developers, rapidly building prototypes to test feasibility, and providing third-level support for developed applications. You will also conduct feasibility studies for integrating new technologies like NoSQL or big data environments. This position offers the chance to work in an interdisciplinary team, setting new standards by developing web applications, microservices, and back-end APIs, while contributing directly to the success of Switzerland's digital solutions.

Education
Training in IT or similar field
Experience
- Professional experience in software development
- Professional experience in modeling and optimizing relational databases
- Solid experience in web application development
- Experience in requirements engineering, software architecture, security, and testing
- Experience in training apprentices or bachelor students (preferred)
Languages
Additional
- Ability to work 80-100% in Zollikofen, Switzerland (with remote work options)
