Job Summary

This critical role seeks a Systems Engineer to serve as the central interface connecting requirements, architecture, and implementation for safety-critical systems, ideally within the defense sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust system architectures using Enterprise Architect (SysML) within a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) framework, strictly adhering to the V-Model XT methodology. A core focus is analyzing system requirements for consistency, completeness, and testability, with a strong emphasis on RAMT (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Testability). The engineer will also be responsible for verifying system specifications, participating in design reviews, and technically managing subcontractors in architecture and MBSE. Collaboration with Safety, Qualification & Validation, and Quality departments is essential to ensure strict compliance with military and international standards (e.g., MIL-STD, STANAG, AQAP). Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant engineering field, at least three years of experience in developing safety-critical systems, and fluent proficiency in both German and English.
