Job Summary

This role supports the Technical Director by managing and documenting maintenance, inspection, and testing procedures for new and existing electrical systems and equipment, primarily within the chemical industry, including hazardous (EX) areas. Key responsibilities involve organizing and documenting maintenance tasks, providing technical guidance to electrical specialists, and supporting the procurement and modification processes for electrical devices. The successful candidate will also plan the installation and commissioning of instrumentation, control, and electrical (ICE) equipment in daily operations and projects, occasionally assisting the plant electrician with troubleshooting production and supply facility malfunctions. Candidates must possess an Electrical Technician or Mechatronics background, supplemented by advanced training as a Technician or Master Electrician, coupled with enhanced knowledge of explosion protection regulations and their practical application.

Required Skills

Education

Completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics, with further training as a Technician or Master Electrician in the Electrical field, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in creating testing, maintenance, and inspection regulations for electrical systems
  • Professional experience in organizing and documenting maintenance and inspection work
  • Professional experience in the planning of installation and commissioning of ICE facilities
  • Experience in supporting troubleshooting activities on production and supply facilities
