Job Summary

This role involves the daily management and administration of all environmental compliance programs at the Spangdahlem Air Base, with a primary focus on waste management and conducting environmental inspections. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and may be required to acquire specific certifications such as HAZWOPER, DOT, HAZWASTE, and/or RPM. The position requires a completed education or degree as an Environmental Protection Technician, excellent proficiency in both German and English, and strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office. Completed education/degree as an Environmental Protection Technician or similar relevant higher education/studies.

Experience

  • Experience acquired at a comparable difficulty level to the position being filled (for higher salary grades)
