Job Summary

This role involves operating equipment independently within a high-tech semiconductor fabrication plant and collaborating closely with process engineers to define and implement process recipes and experiments. The Process Technician is responsible for conducting independent qualifications using statistical process control (SPC) and Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) methodologies, while meticulously documenting process issues and equipment status. A key part of the job is the continuous monitoring of 'Hold' material, processing it according to Out-of-Control Action Plans (OCAP), and coordinating with Deviation Management. Candidates must possess a technical trade qualification (e.g., Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Microtechnology) coupled with initial professional experience, ideally within the semiconductor sector. This position requires commitment to a continuous 6:4 shift model (6 working days followed by 4 days off) and demands strong teamwork, reliability, and excellent communication skills in both German and English.

Completed technical trade qualification (Facharbeiterausbildung) in a technical discipline (Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Microtechnology, or similar)

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in a technical field (Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Microtechnology, or similar)
  • Initial knowledge of general manufacturing methods and processes
  • Ideally, semiconductor-specific knowledge and experience
  • Very good methodological knowledge in process control
