Job Summary

This pivotal role seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering specialist to lead and manage a 12-person department within a prominent Hamburg-based engineering consultancy focusing on Technical Building Services (MEP). The Head of Electrical Engineering will be responsible for the full spectrum of departmental success, encompassing technical execution, economic performance, and personnel management. Key day-to-day duties include providing technical and disciplinary leadership, coordinating staff deployment, participating in recruitment, negotiating with clients and subcontractors, and overseeing project planning across all HOAI phases (1-8). Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (Technician/Master Craftsman), demonstrate proven leadership skills, and ideally bring multi-year planning and project management experience, coupled with strong commercial acumen.
