Job Summary
This role involves supporting and leading the service for plant-wide Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within Siemens Mobility GmbH's evolving system landscape. The Information Manager will drive and manage global EWM migration projects, serving as a cross-site contact for external IT system suppliers and plant management, coordinating ongoing services and new requirements. A key responsibility is contributing to the conceptual design of new warehouse structures, integrating them into existing systems, and strategically developing the WMS system landscape, including customizing and development specifications. The position also requires resolving incidents with partners and identifying improvement potentials within the system landscape. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in logistics, project management, and extensive SAP knowledge to shape future logistics processes in a global setting.
Required Skills
Education
University degree with a focus on Logistics or Industrial Engineering
Experience
- Many years of experience in project management
- Knowledge of warehouse and production logistics processes
- Many years of profound SAP knowledge in SAP-EWM / MM-IM, and S/4HANA
- Process and customizing knowledge of WMS systems (ideal)
