Job Summary
This is a full-time, permanent position for a Civil Engineer within the Bautzen branch of the State Office for Road Construction and Transport (LASuV) in Saxony. The role focuses on managing and executing planning and construction preparation for medium-sized infrastructure projects, specifically involving roads, engineering structures, and cycling facilities. Day-to-day tasks include project responsibility for planning phases (feasibility studies, preliminary, draft, and approval planning), coordinating with other specialized planners, and managing the procurement of freelance services below the EU threshold. The ideal candidate must hold a degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in Civil Engineering, preferably specializing in Road Construction, and possess fluent German (C1 level). Experience
- Professional experience in planning and conceptual areas (preferred)
- Knowledge in planning traffic facilities on federal and state roads and cycling facilities (preferred)
- Relevant professional experience is desired, but open to committed entry-level professionals
