Job Summary

The HMU Health and Medical University, part of the IRO Group, is seeking an IT Network Technician to join their team in Potsdam. This full-time, permanent role involves actively shaping and maintaining the university's modern IT infrastructure across multiple locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of critical network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and WLAN systems. The technician will be crucial in ensuring network stability and security, conducting monitoring, troubleshooting, and managing VPN/Remote-Access solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a completed IT qualification, deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN), and practical experience with major networking vendors like Cisco, HP/Aruba, or Fortinet.
