Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced IT Administrator to join EUROLOG, a key player in global logistics IT, responsible for ensuring the reliability and speed of worldwide supply chains. The core function involves the installation, administration, and monitoring of web applications, databases, and Windows Servers hosted within the company's data center near Munich Airport. Daily tasks include optimizing server processes, securing systems through regular updates, monitoring application availability, and providing analytical troubleshooting during incidents. A significant part of the job involves administering and developing MS SQL Server databases. Candidates should have a background in IT System Integration, Application Development, or equivalent professional experience (minimum 3 years). Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages is essential. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's cloud strategy utilizing modern container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and requires participation in an on-call rotation.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as an IT Specialist (System Integration or Application Development) or University degree in IT.
Experience
- Professional experience as an IT Specialist for System Integration or Application Development
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the IT sector (for career changers)
- Experience in administering and developing MS SQL Server databases
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Servers
