Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Section Manager within the Office for Education and Social Affairs, focusing primarily on municipal youth work, daycare facilities, and school administration duties. The Section Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the team, managing staff for youth work, and independently planning and executing project goals for youth and childcare. Key daily tasks include contributing to strategic needs planning for daycare centers and schools, acting as the contact person for school secretaries, developing fee regulations and usage statutes, processing funding applications, and managing public relations for the Education Office, alongside overseeing quality management in daycare centers. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Management or a comparable qualification, possesses strong administrative process knowledge, and demonstrates excellent communication, self-organization, and team orientation. This is a permanent public sector position offering varied responsibilities, room for initiative, and the possibility of flexible remote work arrangements after the initial training period.
