Job Summary
This role involves the administration, maintenance, and conceptual development of a central service platform, focusing on the Service Portal, Service Catalog, and Service Desk. The administrator will be responsible for managing requirements and consulting internal departments on expanding the platform, while also evaluating and implementing AI-based solutions for process optimization and automation. Key tasks include creating and maintaining digital workflows, integrating interfaces with the central CMDB, and automating internal processes. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent IT qualification, coupled with strong knowledge of Service Management, ITIL frameworks, and experience with Microsoft Reporting Services, Power BI, and SQL Server environments. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Karlsruhe, offering the opportunity to drive digital transformation and process efficiency within a public sector environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Management Assistant, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in an IT environment (required for non-degree holders)
- Experience with ITIL frameworks
