Job Summary

This crucial role as Production Lead involves overseeing manufacturing and maintenance operations across the DB Regio AG sites in Freiburg and Haltingen. The core mission is to act as the Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM IV, per EU VO 2019/779), ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include the strategic planning, monitoring, and control of all resources—personnel, qualifications, infrastructure, and material—required for rail vehicle maintenance. A key focus is the continuous optimization of production processes and strict adherence to all relevant legal and internal regulations (safety, environment, quality). Candidates must possess a technical degree or equivalent Master/Technician qualification in mechanical, vehicle, or electrical engineering, coupled with proven leadership skills and professional experience in maintaining rail vehicles or complex industrial production facilities. The position requires a structured, solution-oriented approach and the ability to inspire a team in a highly regulated environment.
