Job Summary

This role is centered on the development, design, and characterization of highly stable OEM laser measurement systems tailored for high-precision industrial applications. The Systems Engineer will manage the entire product lifecycle, taking responsibility from initial requirements analysis through verification and validation. Key daily tasks include creating detailed functional, requirement, and interface specifications, integrating subsystems, coordinating rigorous system tests, and performing detailed fault analyses (such as FMEA and Root Cause Analysis). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Physics, Photonics, or Systems Engineering and brings several years of professional experience in the systems engineering of complex optical or laser-based systems. Expertise in lasers, optics, electronics, control systems, and data evaluation is crucial for success in this demanding, high-impact position within a world leader in precision measurement technology.
