Job Summary

This role is for a proactive Laboratory Specialist to join a DeepTech startup in Tübingen, specializing in accredited water analysis and developing innovative microbiological testing solutions. The specialist will be responsible for the full lifecycle of microbiological water analysis within a BSL2 laboratory, including sample reception, preparation, setup, timely evaluation, and meticulous documentation. A critical component of the job involves maintaining the Quality Management System (QM) and ISO 17025 accreditation, which includes document management, communication with the DAkkS (German Accreditation Body), and audit preparation. Furthermore, the role requires monitoring, maintenance, and calibration of measuring equipment, managing procurement of consumables, and ensuring strict adherence to the Infection Protection Act and occupational safety standards. The ideal candidate must hold a relevant technical assistant qualification (BTA, CTA, MTA), possess fluent German and good English skills, and demonstrate a structured, efficient, and team-oriented approach to their work.
