Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Geometric Measurement Technician to drive complex metrological test series, primarily utilizing 3D measurement systems within the automotive powertrain and vehicle development sector. The core responsibilities include preparing and executing tests, operating specialized 3D measuring hardware and software, evaluating measurement results, and performing detailed troubleshooting and error correction using diagnostic systems. A key aspect is managing measurement objects and data within defined IT systems for Operation Drivetrain. Candidates must possess a background as an Engineer, Certified Technician, or Master Craftsman in Geometric Metrology or Automotive Engineering, coupled with over three years of conceptual and operational experience in 3D metrology. Proficiency in programming and operating specific 3D measuring machines (such as Zeiss/Leitz) is mandatory, along with a deep understanding of standard testing equipment for mechanical and electrical components.
