This role is vital for ensuring the continuous operation and high performance of autonomous scanning robots utilized by retail customers across Germany. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the staged commissioning, installation, and configuration of these robots on-site. Core duties include performing routine maintenance, complex repairs, functional testing of components, and conducting final quality assurance checks, including test drives and detailed documentation. Furthermore, the role involves transporting robots and providing essential training to customer staff on their proper use. This position requires a professional with a background in mechatronics or IT, a high quality consciousness, and a structured approach, who is prepared for extensive travel (75%) within Germany to support a successful, high-growth robotics startup.
