Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Electrical Engineer (Bachelor or Diploma level) to join the State Construction Authority in Augsburg, managing complex public construction projects for the Free State of Bavaria and the Federal Government, potentially focusing on facilities for the German Armed Forces/NATO or the University/University Hospital of Augsburg. The successful candidate will serve as a sub-project manager for the electrical engineering discipline, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning and tendering to construction coordination and billing. Key responsibilities include acting as the client representative, ensuring adherence to deadlines, cost control, quality, and managing interfaces within interdisciplinary teams (structural engineering, HVAC, civil engineering). The position requires excellent German language skills (C1 level), a strong understanding of contract and building law, and the ability to independently manage external engineering offices and construction services. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a varied and socially relevant role within the public service.
