Job Summary
This role involves taking responsibility for tax-related matters and shaping compliance processes within the Finance Department of the German Pension Insurance Hesse (Deutsche Rentenversicherung Hessen) in Frankfurt am Main. The specialist will be crucial in ensuring legal compliance and efficient administration, specifically focusing on the implementation of § 2b UStG (German VAT Law) and developing tax steering and control concepts, including a Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS). Daily tasks include planning and executing tax law measures, reviewing and developing existing processes, advising internal departments on tax issues, and preparing tax registrations and declarations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in finance or business/public management, or has completed vocational training as a tax clerk with further qualification as a tax specialist or balance sheet accountant, coupled with relevant professional experience and a structured, independent working style.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree (Diploma in Finance, Bachelor in Business Administration, Public Management, or comparable) OR Completed vocational training as a Tax Clerk with successful further training as a Tax Specialist or Balance Sheet Accountant
Experience
- Several years of professional experience relevant to the tasks
- Experience in supporting and implementing company-wide projects, ideally with a tax focus
