Job Summary

This role involves working as a Laboratory Technician, primarily focusing on the preparation and analysis of coke material within a refinery environment. Day-to-day duties include classifying, grinding, and sieving coke samples, followed by detailed analysis of properties such as density, residual moisture, ash content, and reactivity, utilizing instruments like X-ray fluorescence analyzers. The technician is also responsible for managing material inventory, handling chemical storage, transporting samples, and ensuring the operational readiness of analytical equipment. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant, Chemical Technician, or CTA, coupled with good knowledge of analytical methods, quality management, and occupational safety. The position requires a structured, independent work style, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to work early shifts and wear respiratory protection, ensuring all analyses adhere to high quality and safety standards.
