Job Summary

This role involves executing essential maintenance, repair, and modification work on complex production and building technical systems, focusing heavily on electrical, automation, control, and safety technology. The professional will be responsible for independently installing safety devices, controls, and cable systems, troubleshooting faults, and repairing control cabinets. A key part of the job is determining performance levels of machinery, planning safety improvements (e.g., limit switches, safety relays), and conducting independent acceptance tests and corrective adjustments based on calculated parameters. This position requires coordinating and supervising external contractors and team members in automation technology, managing documentation, processing work orders, and participating in on-call duty. The ideal candidate holds a relevant electrical qualification, ideally complemented by further training as a Technician or Master Electrician, and possesses significant professional experience in maintaining and repairing complex machinery and systems.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Electrician, Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, or related field (e.g., Energy and Building Technology, Industrial Engineering). Ideally, further training as an (PLC) Technician or Master Electrician (Elektrotechnikermeister).
