Job Summary
This role involves serving as a crucial Planning Engineer for civil engineering projects, focusing specifically on underground construction (Tiefbau). Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting topographical surveys, recording existing sewer networks, dimensioning and designing new dirty and rainwater canal systems, and evaluating existing sewer damage to determine necessary rehabilitation measures. The engineer will also design new road construction projects, specifying heights and load classes, and plan development areas. Key requirements include a degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor, Master, or equivalent) and practical experience with planning tasks based on the HOAI fee schedule. Proficiency in surveying technology (Total stations, GNSS/GPS-Rover) and CAD programs is essential, alongside strong analytical skills, spatial reasoning, and excellent communication abilities to effectively consult with clients and collaborate within the team.
