Job Summary

The City of Niedenstein is seeking a full-time, permanent Civil Engineering Technician specializing in underground construction to manage and maintain municipal infrastructure. This role involves the planning, supervision, and maintenance organization of earthworks and civil engineering projects, including road and sewer construction. Key responsibilities also include managing the full tendering process, from solicitation and awarding contracts to financial settlement. The successful candidate will also be involved in preventative measures against heavy rainfall events and maintaining drainage systems, alongside conducting road condition assessments. Candidates must possess a qualification as a certified Civil Engineering Technician or equivalent, coupled with several years of professional experience in civil engineering, strong analytical skills, and a self-structured working approach.
