Job Summary

This Senior Project Engineer role involves managing and executing the certification of offshore wind projects across Germany and Europe. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing design documentation, construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure strict compliance with relevant national and international technical standards and norms (e.g., BSH, IEC/IECRE, DIN EN). The engineer will independently manage assigned (sub-)projects, verify manufacturing documents and welding specifications, and produce comprehensive inspection reports and conformity certificates. Key qualifications include a technical degree in a relevant field (such as Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Technology, or Civil Engineering) and substantial experience in wind energy, specifically in certification, design, or manufacturing of offshore steel structures (Jackets, Topsides, Towers) or comparable maritime infrastructure. This position offers the flexibility of working from Hamburg or remotely via a home office setup, providing a great opportunity to contribute to the safety and development of the renewable energy sector.
