Job Summary

This specialist role is vital for ensuring the continuous operation and expansion of the digital infrastructure within Stuttgart's public transport network. The primary focus involves the operation, maintenance, and expansion of new digital radio systems, specifically TETRA and BOS TETRA, throughout the entire network. Daily responsibilities include guaranteeing strict adherence to maintenance intervals, planning and executing system renewals and expansions, and overseeing construction activities related to infrastructure upgrades. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to supervise these projects and participate in an on-call duty rotation after comprehensive training. Candidates must bring a strong technical foundation in electronics and communications technology, coupled with practical experience in network systems and both analog and digital radio systems, ensuring the reliability of critical public safety communication infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as an Information Electronics Technician or Communication Electronics Technician, and further training as a state-certified Electrical Engineer specializing in Communications Technology / Information Technology, or comparable experience.
