Job Summary

This role as a Control Systems Technician in Berlin involves maintaining, expanding, and modernizing the 36,000 km Berlin power grid to ensure a secure electricity supply for 3.7 million customers. Day-to-day responsibilities focus on control technology secondary systems, including performing maintenance, coordinating functional testing and commissioning, conducting system tests and acceptance checks with suppliers, and managing operational system technology. A key aspect is supporting the digitalization of new technical processes. Candidates must possess a State-certified Technician or Master qualification in Electrical Engineering, or the willingness to obtain one, coupled with very strong knowledge of automation and network technology, and proficiency in Office 365.
