Job Summary

This role as a Control Systems Technician in Berlin involves maintaining, expanding, and modernizing the 36,000 km Berlin power grid to ensure a secure electricity supply for 3.7 million customers. Day-to-day responsibilities focus on control technology secondary systems, including performing maintenance, coordinating functional testing and commissioning, conducting system tests and acceptance checks with suppliers, and managing operational system technology. A key aspect is supporting the digitalization of new technical processes. Candidates must possess a State-certified Technician or Master qualification in Electrical Engineering, or the willingness to obtain one, coupled with very strong knowledge of automation and network technology, and proficiency in Office 365. The position offers excellent work-life balance, including a 37-hour work week, flexible hours, 30 days of vacation, and competitive tariff-based compensation (€50,000 - €64,000), contributing directly to the energy transition in a crisis-proof company.

Required Skills

Education
