Job Summary

The Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH, a leading European manufacturer of aircraft equipment, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their software development team. This role focuses on implementing technical requirements and detailed specifications to optimally utilize hardware architecture, assemblies, and microcontroller systems. Day-to-day tasks involve supporting the coordination and execution of software tasks for embedded controllers in subsystems, defining, programming, commissioning, and testing Board Support Packages (BSPs) for electronic control units, and creating comprehensive technical specifications and architectural documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, deep experience in embedded systems programming, and excellent knowledge of hardware-level C programming and processor architectures. Experience in aerospace software development (DO-178) or other safety-critical domains (ISO 26262) is a significant advantage, ensuring the development of fascinating and highly critical aerospace products.
