Job Summary

This full-time position is with a leading European manufacturer of aircraft equipment based in Lindenberg im Allgäu. The Materials Tester will be responsible for conducting mechanical and metallographic materials testing in strict adherence to customer specifications, general process regulations, and approval standards. Day-to-day duties involve selecting appropriate testing procedures based on component drawings and technical specifications, setting up and calibrating complex testing and measuring equipment, and procuring necessary documentation. A core function of the role is the meticulous documentation and evaluation of test results, including creating detailed defect descriptions for faulty assemblies and compiling comprehensive test, investigation, and approval reports. The ideal candidate must have completed vocational training as a Materials Tester and possess a careful, structured, and team-oriented approach, complemented by good proficiency in MS Office applications.
