Job Summary

This role involves working for a leading global provider of large diesel engines and turbomachinery, based in Augsburg. As a Materials Tester in the material laboratory, you will be responsible for executing mechanical-technological testing procedures, such as tensile tests, hardness tests, and notched bar impact tests. A critical part of the job is the meticulous documentation of test results, including the creation of detailed test reports and certificates. You will also manage and maintain all measurement and test data within the internal laboratory and database systems. Candidates must possess vocational training as a Materials Tester, specializing in metal technology, along with practical experience in testing steel and iron samples, and knowledge of metallography. Proficiency in MS-Office, SAP, and laboratory databases is required.
