Job Summary

This role involves acting as an Embedded Software Developer for Airbus Defence and Space, focusing on implementing and validating software for airborne systems, specifically the DeckFinder product. Day-to-day tasks include writing unit tests, performing software and hardware integration, and ensuring compliance with all requirements through validation and verification (VV) processes up to flight test. You will be responsible for producing test reports, managing release planning, and contributing to qualification and certification efforts. A key part of the job is liaising with systems engineering and customers to define high- and low-level software requirements and contributing to design strategy. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in C and embedded software development (scheduler, U-Boot, firmware, I/O), coupled with professional experience in IT/Information Systems and cross V-Model software engineering responsibilities. Fluent English is mandatory, making this a challenging and rewarding opportunity within the aerospace sector.
