Job Summary

This role is critical for bridging the gap between business units and the IT department within a leading European steel and technology group, driving the decarbonization of the steel industry. The IT Demand Manager will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing IT requirements from various specialist departments, ensuring alignment with strategic corporate goals. Key responsibilities include managing the intake of IT demands, coordinating requirements with working groups and IT representatives, and ensuring the efficiency of processing procedures. The successful candidate will also create an IT service catalog for standard requests, maintain transparency regarding demand status and project progress for stakeholders, and continuously improve Demand Management processes to optimize efficiency and resource utilization across the company. This position requires strong analytical skills, project management expertise, and fluent German proficiency.
