Job Summary

This role involves establishing and continuously developing the organization's Data Governance framework within a municipal energy service provider focused on sustainable action and the energy transition. The Data Governance Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing standards related to data usage, data quality, data security, and data classification, ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements. Key activities include participating in governance committees, ensuring the effectiveness of roles like Data Owner and Data Steward, and coordinating collaboration across specialist departments, IT, and data protection teams. The successful candidate will also promote a data-aware corporate culture through training and develop KPIs and control mechanisms to evaluate and advance the Data Governance strategy. This position requires practical experience in data management and a passion for data analytics, contributing significantly to the company's path toward climate neutrality.
