Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Technical Administrator within the E-Justice Basic Services department, focusing on the successful implementation and operation of IT projects within the Brandenburg judiciary. Day-to-day responsibilities include the technical operation and co-development of TR-Resiscan compliant scanning stations, administering scanning and conversion systems, system installation (test and production), and providing First- and Second-Level support to judicial scanning sites. The administrator will also contribute to the development and operation of server infrastructure for digitalization management, participate in inter-state collaborations, update security concepts, and work on electronic file projects. Candidates must possess a degree in Informatics or a related field, or equivalent technical training and experience, along with strong analytical skills and fluency in German to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with customers.

Required Skills

Education

Successful completion of a relevant university or technical college degree (Bachelor/Diplom (FH)) in Informatics or a related field, OR completed training as a state-certified Technician, OR completed IT vocational training or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT administration or a comparable field (required if possessing vocational training/Technician qualification)
  • Experience with application servers like Apache TomCat or JBOSS (desirable)
  • Basic knowledge of database queries (desirable)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license (PKW-Führerschein) and willingness to undertake business trips within Brandenburg and Berlin; Willingness to undergo a security clearance check according to BbgSÜG.
