Job Summary

This role supports the structural implementation department of Germany's federal highway infrastructure operator, managing approximately 13,000 km of roads. The core responsibility is the conceptual design of major structures, primarily bridges and tunnels. Day-to-day tasks involve operative project management for assigned new construction, expansion, and maintenance projects, alongside the critical review and verification of plans for structures such as bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, and noise barriers. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering and bring several years of relevant professional experience. Desirable qualifications include deep knowledge of HOAI project planning (phases 1-9) and procurement law (VOB/HOAI).
