Job Summary

This leadership role involves taking full responsibility for the planning, setup, and continuous development of the entire IT infrastructure for a leading industrial service provider in Düsseldorf. The Head of IT will manage the operational IT landscape, focusing heavily on system availability, security, and updates, while also administering user accounts, access rights, and domains. Key responsibilities include implementing robust backup and security concepts, managing server and client installations, and providing first- and second-level support to specialized departments. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in system administration, strong knowledge of network management (WLAN, Domain, Patch Management), and proficiency in managing ERP systems. Success in this position requires a structured, reliable, and independent working style, along with excellent communication skills and fluency in both German and English.
