This role seeks a skilled Software Specialist to drive innovation and performance optimization for advanced packaging machinery in Wolfertschwenden. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the development and implementation of customized software solutions, focusing on establishing new technical standards and continuously refining the core software architecture. You will be responsible for adapting and optimizing standard solutions for thermoforming packaging machines and providing essential support to customers during implementation, commissioning, and optimization phases to ensure high satisfaction. The role requires close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to foster synergy and ensure the quality, reliability, and efficiency of the software solutions through modern development standards. The ideal candidate holds a relevant technical degree and possesses mandatory, multi-year experience in IEC 61131-3 development, Structured Text, and modern HMI development using technologies like HTML5, CSS, Java, and Vue.js. Proficiency in both German and English is necessary for effective communication.
