Job Summary

This specialized role involves ensuring the reliable and economic operational management of the 50Hz and 16.7Hz rail power supply systems for DB Energie GmbH. Day-to-day responsibilities include initiating measures to increase network availability, developing comprehensive fault clearance concepts for electrical systems, and meticulously analyzing short-circuit reports and daily operational logs. The professional will also be responsible for the technical review of operating and construction instructions, managing annual operating plans, and serving as the key technical contact for electrification projects concerning system supply and interconnection. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or possess an IHK Master Electrician or Electrical Engineering Technician qualification, ideally paired with practical experience in switching operations and energy supply. This position offers a secure, long-term perspective within the Deutsche Bahn group and includes extensive company-provided training to achieve necessary qualifications, such as switching authorization up to 110kV.

Required Skills

Experience

  • Successful completion of Electrical Engineering studies OR IHK Master/Technician qualification
