Job Summary
This role seeks a dedicated 1st Level Support Specialist to join a team providing technical assistance for iSign, a specialized software solution for digital visitor guidance and room signage used across public institutions in Germany and the wider DACH region. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for German-speaking customers, handling inquiries via telephone and remote support channels. Daily responsibilities include the analysis, classification, and initial diagnosis of technical faults, alongside the configuration and maintenance of Windows and Linux operating systems. Furthermore, the specialist will manage certificate administration (SSL/TLS), perform basic network analysis, and set up new hardware systems like Player-PCs and terminals. Key requirements include vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, strong practical knowledge of Windows and Linux, and experience utilizing helpdesk ticketing systems. This position offers a permanent contract and a flexible hybrid work model combining remote work with fixed office days.
